2014 Winner - High Impact Instructional Leadership (HIIL) Team
The Jack Pizzey School Leadership Team of the Year Award 2014 was awarded to the High Impact Instructional Leadership (HIIL) Team, representing a cluster of five high schools in the Wide Bay area.
The leadership teams at Hervey Bay, Gympie, Kepnock, Maryborough and Gin Gin State High Schools created HIIL Team - a professional development program for deputy principals.
The program aligns professional learning with action implementation plan deliverables through a range of collaborative practices.
It also develops instructional leadership skills to allow deputy principals to work closely with teachers to improve both classroom instruction and student outcomes at their respective schools.
