Shelley Bampton, Mitchelton State High School

Master Teacher at Mitchelton State High School and a natural leader, Shelley takes a key role in the development of the school's pedagogical practices. She strives to share her knowledge, resources and ideas at both her own school and across the region.

Shelley's collaborative work with other schools is informed by her view of education as a social responsibility. She lives and works by the philosophy that 'we are here to educate all kids - not just ones at our own schools'. Her exceptional work has been recognised across the state, earning her a number of educational awards.

Deborah Sparks, Kingston College

Coordinator for Studies of Society and Environment at Kingston College, Deborah Sparks is a leading teacher in the South-East region. In her role as a Master Teacher, she provides structured feedback and models best practice for staff at faculty meetings.

The coordinator of Kingston College's Beginning Teachers and Mentors program, Deborah works to ensure regular professional sharing and support is in place for new teachers.

Educators throughout the South-East region have benefited from her expertise, with Deborah sharing her knowledge and experience across the Logan, Albert and Beaudesert areas.
